Welcome to Greener Postures. By accessing or using our website, purchasing products, or engaging with us in any way, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Greener Postures is a Canadian business specializing in the sale of refurbished and pre-owned office chairs in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We provide high-quality seating solutions from premium brands such as Herman Miller, Steelcase, and Haworth.

By purchasing from Greener Postures, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to enter into a binding agreement.

All chairs sold by Greener Postures are refurbished or pre-owned unless otherwise stated. While we strive to restore all products to excellent working condition, cosmetic imperfections will be present. These are detailed in our chair grading policy.

We do not guarantee that all parts are original OEM unless specified. We reserve the right to use high-quality aftermarket or compatible replacement parts during the refurbishment process.

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Greener Postures currently only serves customers in Toronto and the GTA. Delivery is available within this region and is subject to delivery fees as outlined during the checkout process or quoted by our team.

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all chairs, subject to the conditions listed in our Returns & Refund Policy. Delivery fees (starting from $29+ and above) and transaction fees(2.9% of purchase price + $0.30 per transaction for Credit Card payments) are non-refundable. Where product is returned with additional wear and/or damage, an additional inspection, part replacement, and labour fee may be charged. If pickup is required for a return, the original delivery fee will be charged again. Customers are welcome to drop off returns at designated locations in North York or Markham.

 

Select chairs sold by Greener Postures include a limited one-year warranty, as outlined on our website. This warranty applies to functional components such as tilt and recline mechanisms, gas lift cylinders, and adjustable arm components of failure within the warranty period.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (including but not limited to fabric pilling, mesh fraying, or cushion compression; Degradation, depletion, or breakdown of lubricants, oils, or greases, used in the operation of moving parts, mechanisms, or components; Deterioration of tilt mechanisms, recline systems, adjustment mechanisms, and associated hardware due to repeated use and normal operational stress; Wear of pivot points, joints, hinges, springs, cables, and other mechanical elements subject to regular movement or load-bearing stress; and reduction in smoothness of operation, increased resistance, or minor play in moving parts that develop gradually through normal use); cosmetic imperfections such as minor scuffs or surface marks, or damage resulting from misuse or through normal user-contact surfaces of operational components; improper handling; unauthorized modifications; or unapproved repairs.

In the event of a warranty claim, the customer must follow instructions within our return and refund policy.  An additional inspection, part replacement, and labour fee may be charged for out-of-warranty claims. Greener Postures reserves the right to update or revise warranty terms at any time without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Greener Postures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use our products or website.

All content on the Greener Postures website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Greener Postures and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written permission.

Use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.

Greener Postures reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the effective date noted.
